How to fix "No Page Access" error in Zingly and other social media apps

Why This Happens

Many business owners unknowingly have:

Business Portfolio Access (Full Control)
BUT
Not Facebook Access (Full Control) on the Page itself

Meta treats these as two different systems:

1. Business Portfolio Access
You can manage settings, users, business info
⬆️ But this does NOT allow social media apps (like Zingly) to post.

2. Facebook Access (Full Control)
You appear in: Page → Settings → Page Access → People with Facebook Access
(Note: If "Page Access" is not visible in Settings, search for "Page Access" in the settings search bar)
⬆️ This is what Zingly + Meta API requires.

If your name is NOT in this list → Zingly will show "No Page Access" even though you own everything in the business.

✅ How to Fix It (Step-by-Step)

1
Check if you have Facebook Access (NOT Business Access)
Go to your Page: Page → Settings → Page Access
(Note: If "Page Access" is not visible in Settings, search for "Page Access" in the settings search bar)

Look for: ✅ People with Facebook Access (Full Control)

If your name is NOT here → Zingly cannot access your Page.

You may see something like this:
✔️ Business Portfolio: Full Access
❌ Facebook Access: Not Listed → CAUSE of the issue
2
Add another person temporarily (if you can't add yourself)
Business Portfolio admins cannot add themselves to Facebook Access.
So instead, do this:
Add another person temporarily (your fix)

1️⃣ Go to: Page → Settings → Page Access → Add New
2️⃣ Search for another person you trust
3️⃣ Toggle Full Control button and click Give Access
4️⃣ The other person accepts the invitation
5️⃣ They then go to: Page → Settings → Page Access → Add New
6️⃣ They search for YOUR Facebook user
7️⃣ They toggle Full Control button and click Give Access
8️⃣ You accept the invitation

3
Reconnect with Zingly
1️⃣ Go to app.zingly.com.au and click "Continue with Facebook"
2️⃣ Accept all permissions

✅ Done — Zingly will now have access to your Page

Quick Summary

The Problem: Having Business Portfolio Access doesn't give you Facebook Access, which is what social media apps need to connect to your pages.

The Solution: Get someone with Full Control to add you to Facebook Access, or add a temporary admin who can do it for you.
